We stay for 5 nights during the Cherry Bossom period, we were upgraded a deluxe Suite with views overlook the Tokyo Tower & the beautiful Japanese Garden With many nice cherry blossom tree & lake with large golden fish. the room is clean & big, besides the shower, it also has jacuzzi in the bath room. We were also provided bath salt for it too. the location was great, very close to Shinagawa JR station. the Lobby is nice with beautiful view. Overall we were very satisfied. for sure, we will back again
The Cherry Blossom view from our room was the best we had ever seen in any Hotel. Also the garden around the Hotel especially the Japanese Tea Garden area with that small pool with many fishes was very beautiful and we had really enjoyed our stay. The location of the Hotel and the shuttle bus service to station and other prince hotel especially during rainy time was fantastic.
I wish they had included Break fast also along with the room rate. The selection of Breakfast in the restaurant was also not good. These days most of the Hotel have International Buffet Breakfast and Prince Sakura Tower also should consider introducing International Breakfast Buffet.
Very nice location at Shinagawa station. Hotel is in walking distance and very convenient. Compared with other hotels in Japan the rooms and the bed are huge. A very quiet hotel, furniture in perfect condition. But it is the typical 80ties style in perfect maintainance.
"Bar" in the main lobby is closing at 21:00 p.m. No other facilities in the hotel which are remarkable. This hotel is for the real purpose: for sleeping :-). However, for having a drink later than 21:00, it is only necessary to go straight to the Takanawa Prince hotel which is in close connection. There are 2 bars available and also smoking is allowed.
The rooms were really huge even by Asian standard. It was really spacious and they had separate the bathroom and wc which made it convenient as there were 4of us in the room. The bed was Super King size and we had room for the luggage, a make up desk, a writing desk, a place to keep our food, shoes multiple cupboard and sofa set. I would guess it's the size of a small service suite rather than a hotel. Location is great as it was near the train station, McDonalds and lots of food area in the train station and near it.
The place lack a bustling coffee house but we loved the eateries near the hotel. The porter is in the hotel ans if you needed the porter service, one may need to walk up the slope to the lobby to get the attention of the hotel staff which is about 10m away
The location is excellent just across the key JR station that you can also take the bullet train. The room size is really huge for any standard. It will easily sleep for family of 4. I will stay there again for business and family holiday.
Room service had a good and varied menu with wonderful Japanese food. View was good. Door staff excellent.
Staff levels of English varied - Room service was very good, front desk varied. Sound insulation between rooms was inadequate - could hear bedroom noises on all sides it seems and made me wonder what kind of 'guests' were there. Western style food okay but portions too small for Westerners. TV was limited to a few local channels, no international at all. Room was very spacious but looks a bit dated - needs a more moden carpet and headboard and maybe door and that should be enough. bathroom had excellent powerful shower. I feel price was too much for what I got
Exceptional room size and furnishings, great bathroom+, garden setting
In-building restaurant is only Japanese. Had to go to nearby other Prince hotel for a mixed Western+Japanese buffet. Well done, but required outerwear dressing, umbrella, etc.
1. Large room size. 2. Great view, can see Tokyo tower. 3. Near to station.
1. No free wifi provided in room.
i love the prince sakura tokyo hotel. the rooms are very spacious. probably can fit 5 with extra beds. spacious bathrooms as well. the location is perfect close to shibuya harujuku, shinjiku, roppongi via bus and omotesando hills. airport shuttle avail and wifi is free in the lobby and wired is free inside the room. i would definitely go back to this hotel.
more staff to carry luggages
location to Shinagawa train plenty of local dining options
The room was clean. Staff was efficient n helpful. The room was spacious for a family of three especially as we had more lugguages traveling to the US.
The sofa set in the room is a bit outdated.
Rooms are clean and well maintained.
In-house hotel guests can not utilize fitness center/gym for free!
Rooms are huge with big windows and view. Very comfortable beds and large bathroom. Beautiful gardens and close to JR lines.
No metro trains within walking distance
room ,great view, great food
i was charged 3,600 for going to swimming pool,, i think its not fare especailly concidering the price of the room.It was first time i ever had to pay for swimming at luxary hotel....
